I have always loved to perform but chose to be a cancer researcher. I worked in cancer research laboratories, got a Ph.D. and imagined I would be a scientist my whole life. My perspective on life changed when I started having children and I knew that raising a family was a higher priority. Soon after that change, I rediscovered my love of performing. I started with community choruses, then community theater and then I thought, why not try acting for part time work?

I began actor training with coach Jock MacDonald and learned about the actor as an artist. Also, I explored artistic expression through improv dance, such as Action Theatre and Butoh. I still sing in an a cappella chorus and love(d) to do Flashmob dances.

I have been acting in commercials, films and television and on stage for more than 15 years. My most fun gig was a national XFinity commercial. I have been cast as natural, warm and caring, mom, wife, business woman, and artist. However, I have also been cast as a gun toting assasin, secret agent and prostitute.

I have always loved taking pictures and videos, so I decided to learn video editing. I have produced, directed, and edited short films and programs for local access cable television. I created ROKKEE Productions and recently produced and acted in “Over Easy Courthouse Cafe” web series on Youtube.
